You don't set up Onebase yourself. After a walkthrough we build the system for your business — your customers imported from the system you use today, products and prices entered, and email connected. This page explains what meets you at first sign-in.
First sign-in
- You receive an invitation by email. When the system is ready, we invite the business owner. Follow the link in the email.
- Sign in with a one-time code. There's no password to remember — you get a code by email each time you sign in.
- Review your data. Your customers and setup are already in place. The dashboard shows what needs you — deadlines, tasks and whatever is waiting.
The modules
- CRM (customers) — your contacts and companies, with the history in one place: which quotes they've received, which projects are done, and what you've agreed.
- Quotes & Prosjekter (projects) — the day-to-day work. A quote becomes a project (prosjekt) when the customer says yes, with lines for labour and materials, hours and planned visits. See Projects: from quote to done.
- Invoicing — invoice bases you freeze and export to your accounting system. See Invoicing a project.
- Agreements — price terms projects inherit, and subscriptions that invoice a fixed fee or by the hour. See Agreements, price inheritance and subscriptions.
- Time tracking and scheduling — hours with approval and export, and the company calendar with week, day and list views.
- HR, fleet and equipment — your employees with absence and certifications, your vehicles and your tools. Each employee has their own "Me" area for what's theirs.
Invite your team
Employees are added under HR, and access is managed under Settings → Team. Each employee gets their own sign-in and sees what's relevant for their role — the field worker sees their projects and hours, the office sees its lists.
Where to find things
Each module has its own entry in the left-hand menu. If you need a quick answer on where something lives or how a feature works, ask the Onebase assistant in the help panel — it points you to the right screen. It doesn't read your data and makes no changes; read more on the Onebase assistant.
